Pleasant Ridge Middle School Library Censorship

As your student(s) Middle School Librarian, I would like to take the time to inform you about some of the literature that is accessible in the school library.

We do not censor literature at USD #449, but I want to let you know that there is a possibility that your student(s) could choose a book in our school library that could possibly have some of the following topics in them:

• Explicit Language

• Sexual descriptions or Conduct

• Rape

• Homosexuality

• Gender Transition/Fluidity

• Bullying

• Religion

• Politics
