Education

Educational History:

  • I started my education in the Easton School district from when I was in KDG all the way to my senior year. I graduated from PR in 2002. 

Degrees and Certifications:

  • BS in Elementary Education from the University of Saint Mary. 2006
  • Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Saint Mary. 2012

Current Position:

I am looking forward to my 2nd year here at PRES!

Previous Position:

I previously taught in the Bonner Springs School district at Edwardsville Elementary for 8 years! I taught 4th grade for 5 years, 5th grade for a year, 3rd grade for a year, and 2nd grade for a year. This is my second year teaching 1st grade and I am very excited! 

Family Information:

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Jeremy Johnson. We have been together for 16 years and married for 11 years. We have two little boys. Elijah who is 7 and is in 2nd grade. Jeremiah who is 6 and is in 1st grade. Both my boys go to PRES this year. We have two dogs. Bugzly is a shih tzu, and Ellie Mae is a english bulldog.  In our free time, we enjoy going to Nebraska football games, fishing, hunting, going for walks, and riding our four wheelers together.

In my free time I like to spend time with my boys, go on walks, get lost in a good book, go fishing or hunting, and most importantly watching Nebraska play some football!! :-)
