I began teaching at Pleasant Ridge Elementary in August of 2008.  I taught first grade for 3 years, and this is my 5th year in the kindergarten classroom.

I began my teaching career in USD 322-Onaga.  I taught there for 7 years.  While there I taught fifth and sixth grade combined, third grade, and first grade.  After leaving Onaga, I taught kindergarten at Jackson Heights for 2 years.

My husband, Kelly, and I met while both attending Kansas State University.  We married in 2002 and began our life together in Holton, Kansas.  My husband's job with Westar Energy brought us to Atchison in 2007.  We welcomed a daughter into our lives in 2013. We enjoy spending time together as a family and golfing.
