My name is Nancy Horton. I am the Food Representative for USD 449.  I am dedicated to serving your student the best quality and most satisfying meal possible. 

The Food Service Staff at Pleasant Ridge wants you to know that you WILL NOT have to pack a lunch for your student. Our redesigned menus offer a variety of healthy, homemade dishes. We are excited about the changes, and we hope you are as well.

We offer a great breakfast menu that will power your student throughout the day and includes the following options:

  • Hot entree that changes daily
  • Cereal and Pop Tart or breakfast bar
  • Yogurt and a breakfast bar

As always, fresh fruit, and a variety of 100% juice and flavored milk (white, chocolate, strawberry) are offered with every meal.

Our improved lunch menu includes a choice of entree, generous sides, fresh fruit and vegetables, and a variety of flavored milk. “Seconds” and a salad bar are offered at the Middle and Senior High schools along with a variety of a la carte items during lunch.

The Pleasant Ridge Food Service staff is committed to serving your student an exceptional, value-priced meal. Our staff includes the following personnel.
