Hello! My name is Missy Jackson.  I am a life long resident of Easton, Kansas and a proud graduate of Pleasant Ridge High School.  I decided to become a teacher because of the the wonderful experiences I had while attending the Easton School District during my childhood.  My third grade teacher, Cheryl Ranabargar, is now one of my closest friends! It is my hope to create life-long connections with my students, as well.

After graduating from Pleasant Ridge, I recieved my Bachelor's Degree from St. Mary College.  Yes, it was a college back then, not a university!  I later recieved my Master's in Education from Mid-America Nazarene University.  I have spend all of my 23 years in education at USD #449.  I have taught 1st-4th grade. 

My husband is Kyle Jackson, another Pleasant Ridge graduate.  We have been married 20 years!  We have a dog named, Bear, and too many barn cats to mention.  We are avid motorcycle riders and enjoy spending time with our family.  You will see me at all of my nephews sporting events, as I am his #1 fan! 

I hope that this is a very productive and successful school year for both my students and myself.
